Queens HUB Building
Brief / Response:
The challenge of this contract for us was the shape of the building. The geometry involved in sizing materials and fitting them proved to be challenging in a very tight deadline. It turned out to be a very prestigious and encapsulating building. The walls were constructed using Kingspan Karrier panel with an 80mm core thickness. The panel was fitted directly to the steel frame. We then fitted Kingspan Corten case trays directly to the outer skin of the Karrier Panels via Kingspan specialised support grid. The roof was constructed using Kingspan roof liner sheeting with a core thickness of 175mm. The liner sheet was weatherproofed using Armourplan PVC roofing membrane with standing seam profiles.
