Refurb of roof of viewing gallery over shop units at the harbour in Portrush. Original roof was concrete deck with flags set on top. Due to the destructive nature of removing the flag stones, it was decided to use a liquid system to cover the existing flags in-situ. The area was power washed and cleaned before applying a reinforced Elastaseal liquid roofing system, from Patterson Protective Coatings. Due to the heavy foot traffic, a sanded top was applied to provide a non-slip surface. All new flashings were made at TR yard.
